Mr. Moreno - Editor-In-Chief

My name is Mr. Moreno. I am the Journalism teacher and this website is one of my efforts to bring more student and parent engagement to our campus.

This website is a means to develop a team of student journalists to showcase their writing, research, and publishing of digital content, while learning about truth in media, ethics, freedom of the press, and much more. My goal is to give our journalism students a real world publishing playground, provide them the responsibilities of proof reading, editing, and meeting deadlines. Higher performing students will take on the duties of editors and mentor other students, while helping them improve their writing and reading skills through out the year, build confidence, and leadership skills.

Cobra Creative Media Club

Mr. Rhyanes, one of our English teachers, has put together his Cobra Creative Media Club, which meets

every Tuesday after school, from 3 to 4 pm. In his after school program, students learn various digital skills, such as photography, film making, and even learning to create beats through software.

Thank you Coaches!

Because of your help our website is off toa great start with over 300 photos uploaded from various sports events. Thank you for taking the time after school and on weekends to give our students a great school experience! Athletics is important part of school culture. It builds character, grit, develops team working skills, and keeps students healthy.
